4 Weeks of Focus Training to get you ready for 2025

Training Philosophy: Focus on Fundamentals: 

Prioritize mastering the basics of sprinting, agility, and strength training. 

Progressive Overload: Gradually increase training intensity and volume to optimize performance.

4 Weeks of Progressive Training

Monday - Acceleration focused speed day 

  • Comprehensive warm-up followed by drills specific to the workout. Once properly warmed up and primed for sprinting, athlete’s will have a sprinting session with technique coaching followed by a cooldown with mobility exercises. 

Tuesday - Strength (Rate of force development, power focused)

  • Weight Room suitable for all experience levels focused with a lift that complements the sprinting mechanics of the day before

Wednesday - Max Velocity speed day

  • Comprehensive warm-up followed by drills specific to the workout. Once properly warmed up and primed for sprinting, athletes will have a sprinting session with technique coaching followed by a cooldown with mobility exercises. 

  • Max velocity day will utilize equipment such as wickets to educate and prioritize proper frontside and backside sprint mechanics

Thursday - Strength (Posterior focused with plyometrics working on elasticity)

  • Weight Room suitable for all experience levels focused with a lift that complements the sprinting mechanics of the day before

  • Each week of the 4 week program builds on the gains from the prior weeks work.
